Días de invierno / Winter days

Como se había predicho aquella noche nevó y nevó. Y continuó nevando a lo largo del día siguiente.
Todos decidieron trabajar desde casa para evitar tener que conducir.

Dibujar en el portátil frente a la ventana, mientras la nieve caía, con una humeante taza de té junto al ratón, era una delicia.

 

A la hora del lunch aún seguía nevando. Se sentía contenta, pues tenía pensado salir a disfrutar de la nieve. En un instante se puso el abrigo, la bufanda y las botas y, tomando el paraguas del perchero, se adentró en un mundo de blanca, pacífica calma.

 

 

As it had been predicted, that night it snowed and snowed. It also carried on snowing the following day. Everybody decided to work from home, so that they didn’t have to drive.

Drawing on the laptop, in front of the window with the snow falling, plus a nice hot cup of tea, was just delicious.

It was still snowing at lunch time. She was happy as she had in mind to go out to enjoy the snow. She put on her coat, scarf and boots in a blink, and grabbing an umbrella, she entered a world of white, pacific calm..
